^& Seiko Men s Watches Sportura SNA595P2 WW

I have dozens of watches (an addiction with no cure) but despite the collection, I have never purchased a Seiko. No special reason, I guess, but that all changed when I saw the new Sportura. It's a glossy black and polished steel gem. I fell in love with its looks and when I tried it on, I was hooked. The band and curved shape of the case made for an extremely comfortable fit. The stop watch function is smooth and has a high quality, well made feel. The orange accents on the band, and push pieces looks sharp to my eyes. The watch keeps great time as you would expect from a serious watch company like Seiko. The only gripe, I always have a gripe, is the alarm function. There is a small second face that you set in a slightly complicated way. But unlike some digital watches with alarms, this one only works once and then has to be reset. And then it's only good for a setting up to 12 hours ahead. That feature seems odd to me. Better they should have had a second time zone feature (like a Rolex GMT) instead of this alarm. (It really has a low volume too.)

But this watch succeeds on its good looks. Like a super model who leaves the cap off the toothpaste tube, you can overlook some small faults. I really like this watch - the picture doesn't do it justice.
